What Responds Best to Being Pruned.

It is getting to be that time of year again (late winter/early spring) when pruning bushes and trees is highly advisable. At this point, it may seem like winter will never end in Northern Nevada, but it will…and soon! So now that the time is soon arriving, we thought it would be a good idea as to which plants on your property respond best to pruning.

Here are some of them –

1.  Forsythia

2.  Lilac

3.  Honeysuckle

4.  Red and yellow twig dogwood

5.  Azaleas

There are many, many more, of course. Suffice to say, as spring is just around the corner you should be calling a professional pruner in the Reno area to come to your Northern Nevada property. The answer, as always, is The Tree Professional of Reno, NV. Take a look at their gorgeous portfolio at thetreeprofessional.com. Call Greg at (775) 420-8694.

Trees and Power Lines…Bad Combo!

Did you know that nearly a quarter of the unplanned power outages you may have experienced in Northern Nevada are caused by trees and other vegetation growing too close to power lines? In high winds, trees can be blown onto power lines, causing the lines to short-circuit, and can also cause major damage to electrical equipment, resulting in power interruptions.

Here are some helpful tips -

1.  Trees should be a certain distance from electrical conductors.

2.  Subscribing liability to those who are guilty of that distancing.

3.  Find the right company to safely remove a tree.

That last part is easy in Northern Nevada. It is the aptly named Tree Professional of Reno. They have safely removed trees from properties throughout the area for many years. Greg and his team know that it is always safety first! See their amazing work by googling thetreeprofessional.com. Call day or night at (775) 420-8694.
