Trees…Glorious Trees.

What about those trees on your Northern Nevada property?  Trees affect our climate, and therefore our weather, in three very specific ways - they lower temperatures, reduce energy usage and reduce or remove air pollutants.  Those leaves turn down the thermostat.  They actually cool the air through a process called evapotranspiration.

It’s a combination of two simultaneous processes…evaporation and transpiration.  Water is converted from liquid to vapor and evaporates from soil, lakes, rivers and even pavement.  Through transpiration water is drawn up through the soil by the roots and evaporates from the leaves.  TMI perhaps, but we just wanted you to know how important trees can be!
