Care, Care, and Care. Always When Removing a Tree from your Property.

This is the word you must remember when a tree needs to be removed from your Northern Nevada property.  Whether you need to remove a dying tree or hope to replant a tree somewhere else, it's so very important to remove it carefully.  When removed without TLC they can become a hazard if they fall on a living thing, building, or electrical line.

Here are a few important steps to remember –

1.  Everyone involved in the job must be wearing the proper safety equipment.
2.  Completely clear the area around the tree.
3.  Determine which way the tree will fall when cut down.

All of these steps and more require a professional.  Fortunately, in Reno NV and the surrounding area we have just such a person and a company.  He is Greg Chavez and his crew from The Tree Professional of Northern Nevada.  Just go to the web and look at their work on the site thetreeprofessional.com.  For tree removal always all Greg at (775) 420-8694.

When to Prune…Pretty Soon.

Most trees and shrubs benefit from annual pruning.  It encourages growth, keeps them in shape, and removes diseased bark and limbs.  A general rule of thumb, fiskar (look it up), and maybe a chainsaw are used to prune spring flowering trees and shrubs right after they bloom and prune later flowering trees and shrubs in the early spring.

Now, here is something you might want to keep in mind.  Losing an entire season of flowers is not what you want to accomplish with pruning…most of the time, that is.  However, it might be worth it sometimes.  When you need to rejuvenate an old tree or shrub and make extensive cuts, it’s much easier to prune when you can see the shape of the plant.

Here is what you can’t see.  You CAN’T see yourself climbing your trees on your Reno area property with the proper equipment and actually doing the job!  For that, there is The Tree Professional of Northern Nevada.  That’s their name and what they are all wrapped up into one.  Contact The Tree Professional for expert pruning at (775) 420-8694.
