It Wasn’t That Long Ago…2013

Remember? Less than eight years ago a dust storm wreaked havoc on roadways of Northern Nevada. The downed trees in the Reno area would have been a job for The Tree Professionals. Over in Winnemucca there was a 27-car pileup! The crash prompted the Nevada Highway Patrol to shut down the east to west corridor on I-80.

What happens when a freak storm hits Reno, Carson City, or any area around Northern Nevada? Well, trees are downed in neighborhoods around the area. When that happens, the populace think instinctively of The Tree Professionals and their owner Greg Chavez. That is just the way it has been for years!

Throughout the last decade, The Tree Professionals have been Northern Nevada’s arborist offering free estimates. The top priority of their company is always the safety of the property and the people who reside on it. Trimming or Pruning…that is the Question.

What is nobler? Both landscape tasks mean that you’re cutting back shrubs, right? You may not know it, but the answer is not so simple. Yes, shrub trimming and pruning involve removing growth, but they are two completely different approaches. You should understand the definitions of both and how they differ.

Here is one…shrub trimming is cutting off the tips of branches to clean up the overall appearance of a plant. It basically involves using power hedge trimmers to skim the tops and sides of shrubs so they look nice and neat and manicured. Pruning is good for shrubs because it removes branches that are dead or diseased and makes room for new growth.

Trimming or pruning…that MAY well be the question, but one thing that is a certainty is if you need shrubs pruned or trimmed or both in Northern Nevada you call The Tree Professional of Reno. That is easy. Just call (775) 420-8694 for the nicest property in the neighborhood! For a better look, Google thetreeprofessional.com.
